Today, we travelled back home! First thing waking up, we realized that the flight was delayed by 6 hours. We still had to leave our airbnb at the check out time of 11am and had to wait at the airport a lot longer than expected. The first plane we took brought us from Madrid to Toronto. And then, we had 3 hours in the airport in Toronto to finally get to Ottawa. The first flight was 8 hours and the second flight was only 40 minutes. Once we arrived, Val and her sister Andreane came to greet us into Canada with signs (even tho it was like 1 in the morning). We drove back home and went straight to bed (for us it was 7am).
Aujourd’hui, nous retournions à la maison! En se reveillant, nous avons vu que notre vol était reporté de 6 heures. Puisque nous devions tout de même quitter notre airbnb à 11h, nous sommes allés attendre le reste à l’aéroport. Nous sommes embarqué pour notre premier vol de Madrid à Toronto pour une période de 8 heures. Ensuite, on a du attendre 3 heures à Toronto avant notre prochain vol pour Ottawa, celui-ci de 40 minutes. Val et sa soeur nous attendaient à destination avec des pencartes même s’il était 1h du matin.
