Aujourd’hui, on est allés passer la journée en Afrique!! On a visité la ville de Tangier, au Maroc. Pour s’y rendre, on a pris un très gros bateau/ferry avec des passagers et des véhicules. Arrivés, on avais un guide qui nous promenait de places en places. Pour commencer, on mangé un bon déjeuner dans un café marocain. Ensuite, on est allé voir une très vieille “lighthouse”. Après, on s’est arrêtés à l’endroit où la mer Méditerranée rencontre l’océan Atlantique. Plus tard, Mik et mon père ont fait un tour de chameaux!! Après, nous avons visité une grotte avec une très belle vue. Par la suite, on est allés marcher dans un village à l’intérieur d’un ancien fort. On a aussi fait du shopping et trouvé des herbes pour que mon père arrête de ronfler! Pour finir, on a soupé dans un délicieux restaurant traditionnel. Ce fut un journée très interessante.
Today, we spent the day in Africa. The ferry boat ride was very big, they could even but cars in it. Lyvia and I did not feel to good in the boat but we survived. After the boat, we met up with our tour guide and he brought us to our first destination. It was breakfast, a good Moroccan breakfast. My dad tried this new thing and he loved it. After the breakfast, we went to go ride camels. My dad and I did it but my sister and mom were too scared. I was scared at first but it was pretty fun. Then, we went into some very cool caves but I didn’t find any diamonds. Before supper, we went to this herbal pharmacy where we found stuff for my dad to stop snoring. The “Doctor” gave us a free oil that is suppose to keep us from being car/sea sick. For supper, we went to a Moroccan restaurant were we ate good traditional food.
